
Nahed
Nahed is a multidisciplinary professional with a distinguished background in law, public policy, and social advocacy. She holds a PhD in Law and brings years of experience in legal practice, policy development, and human rights work.
Originally from the Palestine, Nahed migrated to Australia where she independently built a successful life and career. Her journey reflects resilience, strength, and determination, qualities that continue to inspire those around her. She is a passionate advocate for women’s rights and has played a key role in initiatives promoting gender equity and social justice.
In addition to her professional work, Nahed is also a published poet, writing in both Arabic and English. Her poetry explores themes of identity, love, belonging, and the human experience. Her creative voice adds depth to her advocacy in gender equality and policy work, offering a unique lens through which she engages with culture and community.
Suheir
Suheir is strongly committed to peace and development exemplified first by her ongoing commitment to research and study in the field. She has completed one master’s degree focused on International Studies from Bir Zeit University and has almost completed a second master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Management in Haifa University.
This continued dedication and desire to learn more about other models and methods in order to build peace in a war-torn land has continued over years.
She has worked on conflicts and peace projects with INGO’s (such as International Crisis Group where she worked as researcher and as a consultant in other research stages) also she volunteers in different local NGO’s and governmental entities. Suheir believes deeply in a free and peaceful Palestine where positive and justice peace is promoted.
Recently, Suheir has accomplished peace fellowship sponsored by International Rotary Foundation in Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok / Thailand.
